Our prayers have been answered. Mom has returned home to our Heavenly Father. We are so grateful her pain and suffering has ended. She is having a joyous reunion with her Mother, Daddy and all those who have gone before.

    Looking for the Sunrise

    I’m not looking for the sunset,
    As the swift years come and go;
    I am looking for the sunrise,
    And the golden morning glow,
    Where the light of heaven’s glory
    Will break forth upon my sight,
    In the land that knows no sunset,
    Nor the darkness of the night.

    I’m not going down the pathway
    Toward the setting of the sun,
    Where the shadows ever deepen
    When the day at last is done;
    I am walking up the hillside
    Where the sunshine lights the way,
    To the glory of the sunrise
    Of God’s never-ending day.

    I’m not going down, but upward,
    And the path is never dim,
    For the day grows ever brighter
    As I journey on with Him.
    So my eyes are on the hilltops,
    Waiting for the sun to rise,
    Waiting for His invitation
    To the home beyond the skies.

  4. My family's prayers continue to be with you all. My life had been richly because of my association with Stan and Norma through sports and music. What great examples of perserverence and integrity. Thank you for sharing this blog of your faith through this journey. Again, our prayers are with you.

  5. What we will remember most about Norma is her beautiful smile and kind heart. While there is much sadness for her here on earth, we know she is full of joy with our Heavenly Father. Stan--please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

  6. Hello Natividad Family,
    We are so glad your prayers were answered and that your mother didn't have to suffer any longer. I have been thinking about your Mom all weekend. Your Aunt Marja has been coming to our Safford ward this winter with her daughter Phillis. I didn't know she was your mother's sister (I should have known by the face and the smile!!) until I heard her play the piano in RS! WOW! I felt like I was back in Pima First ward with your mom Aunt Leora. It was so FUN! They are all such amazing women! I am sure your Mom is having such a great reunion with her mom and dad. Even though she is not here with her grandkids, you will feel her helping them just as much from the other side! People used to tell us that about my husband's father who passed away, and I almost HATED hearing it, because we wanted him for a grandpa on earth. BUT I know now that it is true and real! And your little ones will feel it! Please know that we love you and are remembering you in our prayers.
    Love, MaryAnn Crockett Larson
