Kanani and I have been taking turns spending the night and one of us always being there with dad during the day, but because mom is completely bed ridden we don't have to be there around the clock. That frees up time so we can take care of our own families and mom without anyone feeling neglected! Kanani and I both feel it a blessing to be able to live close to our parents enabling us to help care for mom and dad at this time.
