After mom hibernated all day yesterday, Malia and Kuliana took the risk of not giving mom a sleeping pill. They were lucky. . .she slept all through the night! She woke up at 8am and was thirsty. She had to make up from fasting all day yesterday and she drank away. She has had no problem drinking from a straw today. When Kuliana asked mom this morning if she knew what day it was she said clearly "dad's birthday." Malia had mentioned it earlier, but mom knew when Kuliana asked later on. Kuliana and Malia sang Happy Birthday to Dad this morning and mom sang along singing the tune, but with her own words. Dad cried and gave mom a kiss. She then kept singing for 15 minutes.

Kuliana is going to be here all week and Malia until tomorrow. Leilani and Bam are flying in on Friday morning. Mom is lucky to have so many children that love her and want to help take care of her!
